Dr. Mina Narula is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She also serves as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor at the Loma Linda University since 2002. Dr. Narula received a double degree in Orthodontics from Tufts University, Boston as well as the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. In addition, she was a Research Fellow in Orthodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Her unique background of having trained at an Eastern country (India) and at the East Coast (Boston) imparts a special expertise that she brings to her patients and would-be orthodontists at the LLU University. In addition to being a Board Certified Diplomate, Dr. Narula is one of only a handful of orthodontists chosen in the world, the only one in Coachella Valley, for the prestigious Angle Honor Society. The Angle Society is the World's most prestigious orthodontic honor society. There are only 400 active Angle Members throughout the world!

Dr. Narula places an emphasis on customizing a treatment plan, unique for every patient in order to optimize their esthetics. She recommends early screening starting at age 7 to maximize the patient’s growth potential, and non-extraction treatment is preferred to achieve fuller smiles. Special attention is given to ensure close communication on treatment progress and extensive follow up after the completion of active treatment.

A prolific educator, Dr. Narula continues to educate the dentists and hygienists in Coachella Valley on the advancements in the field of Orthodontics by holding extensive continuing education seminars. She works closely with the entire dental community of approximately 140 dentists in the Coachella Valley. She is recognized by her peers as a "Top-Orthodontist" throughout numerous Coachella Valley magazines, including the Palm Springs Life.

Active in several professional associations, besides being a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Narula is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the California Association of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, and the Indian Association of Orthodontists. In the community, Dr. Narula has built her reputation on giving back to the community. She strongly supports the fund raising activities and is a major sponsor of every local elementary, middle, and high school. She supports the pillars of the community and works closely with the Teachers, Nurses, Hospitals and the Indian Tribes. Dr. Narula also supports the businesses and activities of her patients and their families.
